DAFT PUNK: Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem (Review)

 Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem
So as my first film review i want to review a movie I just recently watched(Its the one with the picture above)Randomly called Interstella 5555 this a movie without dialogue,or much folly....foly.....foollycoolly...if forget how you spell that.Anyway this is a great movie moving with cool color design, warpy space backgrounds and altogether looks like an Ozuma Tezuka movie. If you understand the personalities of Daft Punk and theologies they put in with their music with titles like "Television Rules the Nation" and the meaning/not philisophically meaning behind the music video for "Da Funk" you understand that these guys think that music more than people unify. Its extremely a blatant message in the movie. Especially the opening!!!!! You have grandmas and grandpas dancing to "One More Time", people who can even see the concert are dancing to it......EVERYWHERE. It unifies THE WHOLE PLANET!!!!!! If that was in America that would be AWESOME!!!! But that's here nor there with the plot. The plot consists of a band playing "One More Time"(which should be the opening to Eurkea Seven in my opinion) and some weird old guy who possibly stands for all the white men who screws  up all harmony and peace in search of money called Earl of Darkwood. So Earl takes and captures the band playing "One More Time" and takes them to earth and snatches their memories, skin color (their blue), and their minds transports them to earth makes a gazillion dollars off of them. NOW. Yes it seems corny BUT if you factor in that their freakin aliens  and PLAYING DAFT PUNK, Its genius and made me feel hate for Earl. Because of that, Earl takes the inner peace and enjoyment of a WHOLE planet it makes you feel hatred for him. Anyway, he takes the blue band and names them the "Crescendolls"(wonder what that means) and makes a bunch of money off of them.SO after a space ranger who is a huge fan is assigned to help them, he crashes down into the earth and tries to help them. He tries to save them and ended up killing them in the process. Ooops sorry i mean HE ends up dying in the process.(From here i want to talk about the movie from a perspective of awesomeness and intelligence).OKAY so the movie show how really us humans haven't created the music that we know and love. Its all been programed from aliens that Earl de Darkwood has gone to this other planet and stolen and made money off of for thousands of years. Its actually a very good concept. Another part i like is when the space ranger dude dies. The music, heart and soul put in to that part is simply wonderful and really moving, even though we haven seen him for that long. It just a matter of we feel sorry for him due to how he saved "The Crescendolls'" from mind control. The movie from here is just extremely heartwarming, yet dark when it comers to the castle scene which TOTALLY remind me of legend of Zelda (even the music). So with that he Earl tries to sacrifice the only girl in the band to get the 555 disc and rule the world which according to legend gives him all power. These 555 disc counts for how many awards hes won wiht ehartist he has made money of off and is soon to rule the work with all of the discs power....or gold....or magic...... I DON'T KNOW THE MOVIE DIDN'T MAKE IT CLEAR ENOUGH.Anyway they stop him from doing, try to get their memories back,  get exposed for being aliens in the process, and the people of earth are oddly enough willing to help them get home. There are some more plot point i COULD address, buuuuttt this review is getting to long and im getting tired of typing. ALL in ALL this is a GREAT movie. GREAT music, atmosphere, plot, and did a wonderful job playing explaing a very good with imagery and music without dialogue. ALL in ALL i give 5555.........5555/6666. Or for people who dont want to use a calculator...

Its Gets A 83/100
